Two pump houses located behind the building (east) are to be demolished and backfilled with either the decontaminated material from the pump houses or imported clean material. A loading dock area located in the back is approximately 3 ft above grade and contains TSI wrap, this area is to be abated of any ACM and sloped to located just north containing a trench. The building containing the trench is to have all above grade walls demolished. After the walls are demolished a pump truck can be used to fill the trench with flowable fill material. There are two transformers present behind Building C in a fenced area that meet the EPA regulations for nonPCB transformers and are to be recycled at a scrapyard. The fencing around the transformers is also to be removed either by pulling at the post or cutting to grade. A former treatment center located just south of the pump houses is to be demolished and backfilled with cleared materials or imported clean materials. An above ground tank located behind Building C is to be disposed of at an asbestos landfill. A total of 2.5 trailers are present on-site and can all be sent to a landfill as non-ACM. 5 Hill Street: Former Goliger Leather Co., Inc. consists of a ~0.18-acre property with two 1- story warehouses totaling 867 yd2 . The site is located on the Cayadutta floodplain. The site is partially remediated. All fencing is to be either pulled up at posts or cut to grade (need to see what Mayor wants to do with fencing, might want to keep). Buildings to be demolished but leave slab on grade. The brick building contains an approximately 5 ft bg basement, the walls below grade can be left as retaining walls and backfilled with cleared material or clean imported material totaling approximately 2,000 yd3 . 31 South Arlington Avenue: Former Zimmer & Son glove manufacturing building, consists of a 0.10-acre site, with a 3-story warehouse totaling 16,508 ft2 . Based on site observations it is mostly a brick covered hill. There is a brick wall that is to be left behind, loose bricks are to be removed, and bracers are to be put in place to support the brick wall. 102 South Main Street: Former Fownes Bros., Inc. glove manufacturer, consists of the remnants of a 4- story structure that was destroyed in a fire in 2025 totaling 28,500 ft2 . Based on site observations the site is mostly a debris pile that will not require segregation. A small wall is onsite that can be demolished with a sledgehammer. The site is located adjacent to the Cayadutta Creek. Bricks are present in the Creek, larger brick structures can be removed with machinery, smaller bricks will have to be removed without the use of machinery. Wooded floor area next to basin needs to be evaluated after removal for the presence of void space and backfilled with imported clean material. 40 Beaver Street: Former Old Continental Mill sewing and knitting mill, consists of a 3.51-acre site with a total of 7 buildings located on the west side of Beaver Street. The buildings are to be demolished but retaining the slab at each. At the metal building (Building 1) after the building has been demolished it is to backfilled to grade with cleared material or clean imported materials. At the debris areas, the debris is to be removed from the pile leaving the slab. At depths observed approximately 10 feet deep debris is to be removed and backfilled with cleared material or clean imported material.
