Specifications include, but are not limited to: NYS Office of General Services (OGS), Media Services Center (MSC) provides creative services, marketing, web/social media/graphic design, video production, and transmission services to support the various needs of 109 New York State agencies. The MSC is tasked with providing State agencies the ability to broadcast/webcast from remote locations anywhere in the state of New York. To achieve this capability a variety of technologies are utilized to gather content for rebroadcast from our Technical Operations Center in Albany, New York. Among these are satellite uplink services provided by a combination of in-house and contracted vendors, when necessary. OGS MSC, through this solicitation, is seeking to contract with vendors to supply the equipment and crews required to uplink Serial Digital Interface (SDI) television signals from a meeting location via KU band satellite space contracted for by the MSC.
