The selected Respondent shall perform the following services for the County: 1. Examination, evaluation and medical management of TB Clinic clients including consultation, diagnosis, and prescribing and supervising treatment for suspected and confirmed active tuberculosis, latent tuberculosis infections, tuberculosis contact investigations and appropriate referral of nontuberculosis pulmonary diseases. Clinical expertise must include the ability to read and interpret radiographic images taken on site and/or those delivered by outside radiology providers. All time requirements are approximate. Deliverables: 1.1 Provide a board-certified attending physician with the clinical expertise to interpret radiographic images to diagnose and treat tuberculosis on site at three clinic sessions (12 hours total, 4 hours each) per week at the MCDPH TB Clinic. 1.2 Provide access for Monroe County residents to admission into an acute care hospital with Acid Fast Bacilli (AFB) isolation capabilities. 1.3 Provide on-call availability to MCDPH TB Program staff to address clinical and/or patient- related questions. 1.4 Provide a minimum of two conference sessions per month to present and discuss individual patient treatment plans (40-45 hours per year). 1.5 Provide the above services to patients from counties that contract for TB clinical services from Monroe County TB Control Program. These services will be provided either at the Monroe County TB Clinic or via tele-health access to the Monroe County TB Clinic during regularly scheduled clinic sessions. The decision to enter into inter-municipal contracts with other counties will be mutually agreed upon between the Respondent and Monroe County TB Control Program. 1.6 Participate in third-party reimbursement for all clinical services provided at the Monroe County TB Clinic.
