Specifications include, but are not limited to: provide the rental and laundering of uniforms for our maintenance employees and other key staff. The contract will also include supplying floor mats and shop towels; Shop Towels: Microfiber shop towels will be supplied for all three divisions. CDTA requests that the towels be split up into bags of 10 to be distributed equally among maintenance personnel. Albany requires 1,000/weekly Troy & Schenectady require 500/per location/weekly; Floor Mats: Floor mats will be provided that allow as part of this contract. They will be delivered to all three locations listed above as well as 85 Watervliet Avenue and a small trailer located on the 110 Watervliet Avenue site. Floor mats will be replaced at a minimum, biweekly. Some high traffic arears may require weekly swap out.; Lockers: The successful proposer shall supply individual lockers in each location for each person who receives a uniform. Delivery person will place uniforms in each locker and assure it is locked. Lockers to be lockable, with individual employee locks if desired with delivery person using master key. Lockers will be in one central location at each facility.; Uniform Quality: All uniforms are to be brand new at the beginning of contract term. If incumbent uniform provider is successful in retaining contract, they are still required to provide new uniforms to all employees regardless of any recent replacements. All uniforms at beginning of contract are to be Grade 1. Replacement pieces provided during the contract may either be Grade 1 or Grade 2.
