The Work under this Item includes removal and replacement of building lead service lines, inclusive of work on private property. All Work shall conform to the latest requirements described in: the NYCDEP Standard Water Main Specifications for Distribution Mains and Trunk Mains; RCNY, Title 15, Chapter 20: Rules and Regulations Governing and Restricting the Use and Supply of Water; NYCDOT Standard Specifications; all other applicable rules and regulations as listed herein, as well as to the satisfaction of the Construction Project Manager. The Work may include but not be limited to the following: 24.1.1. Scheduling appointments with the Property Owner. 24.1.2. Obtaining applicable permits. Permits may include, but are not limited to, NYCDEP, New York City Department of Transportation, the New York City Department of Parks and Recreation, and the New York City Department of Buildings permits. 24.1.3. Locating and verification of lead service lines. 24.1.4. Protection of adjacent service and utility lines.
