Specifications include, but are not limited to: one hundred fifteen (115) new and unused or Year 2022 or newer carts. Upon delivery of 2022 or newer carts, no cart may have loose or broken body panels, seating surface must be free of any rips or tears in material. Delivery of a cart will not be accepted by the course Superintendent if it has wear that is deemed excessive for the age of the cart. Bid amount is per cart per year, with equal payments being May through October of each season – six (6) payments per season.; All golf carts must be accessorized with canopy tops, club protectors, clear folding-down windshield, hubcaps and two (2) number decals. Erie County will replace broken or damaged windshields, at their discretion. The price of the replacement windshield will not exceed $105.00 per windshield charged by the Vendor ($105.00 includes parts and labor), during the life of the 1st lease. Should the lease be extended, the price will not exceed $110.00/windshield for the 1st extension and $115.00 for the 2nd extension.; Winter storage can be accommodated at the Golf Courses BUT it would be outside. If the vendor chooses to store the carts for the Winter, they will be picked up between November 15 and November 20, and they should be returned to the Golf Courses no later than April 1st. Lease term shall be for three (3) years, with two (2) renewable three (3) year options. The renewable options are provided that the fleet is upgraded during the second option period with 2025 or newer carts.; The lease will include all maintenance on normal wear and tear, including parts and labor, for any reason other than Customer caused damage or vandalism. Normal wear & tear includes damage to – straps, seat covering, buckles, club protectors and coolers. Maintenance will be provided within one (1) week of a service call placed by the Golf Course. Maintenance work will take place at the respective Golf Course and if transportation of a car is required for a major repair, it shall be the responsibility of the Vendor. Vendor will supply a loaner cart if one is sent to the vendors shop for repairs. Winter service and preparation for storage will also be provided by the Vendor. ; Emergency service is required, with the exception of flat tires. Vendor will supply each site with replacement tires for repairs between weekly service calls.; ALTERNATE Vendor to provide four (4) accessible golf carts (two for each course), year 2022 or newer. Vendor will provide coolers for ALL golf carts.
