Specifications include, but are not limited to: Provide labor, materials, tests, tools, and equipment to complete the Kaufman Hall Access Control installation project. ○ Procure the Allegion locks, gateways and associated components. The winning bidder is required to purchase the Allegion locks and associated components through an authorized AMAG dealer. ○ The CAT6 cable can be procured through a distributor of choice. ○ Install the gateways, run the CAT6 cable, terminate the gateways to the patch panels in the IT Network closets. A certification report must be provided for all installed CAT6 cable per TIA industry standards. ○ Remove the Saflock units and Install the Allegion locks on all designated doors per the design layout The Contractor may begin survey and procurement of materials immediately following award. This project will be implemented in TWO PHASES in the following way: Phase I • Removal of Saflok units and Installation of CAT6 cabling, gateways and Allegion locks can commence as soon as material has been received for all non-resident rooms in the building that are identified in the design layout, which include o Student Common use rooms o UG2/Facilities rooms o Public Safety office o IT Closets o Residential Life Office Phase II • Removal of Saflok units and installation of Allegion locks on resident apartment doors can commence on floors 1 - 15 starting on May 25th, 2023, (or the first business day following commencement), with completion no later than August 4th, 2023. THIS IS A HARD DEADLINE • The completion date for any or all non-resident rooms will be August 31st, 2023
