Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Work of the Project is defined by the immediately following Project Description herein below and by the Contract Documents. Project Description: Provide labor, materials, tests, tools, and equipment to complete the Kaufman Hall Access Control installation project. The Contractor MUST be an authorized dealer and installer of the locks that are listed on Attachment C – Bid Analysis Form. The Contractor may begin survey and procurement of materials immediately following award. This project will be implemented in TWO PHASES: Phase I (Winter/Spring 2022/2023): Install all cabling and wireless hubs in all locations as per the design layout. This includes ordering all the locks with the necessary listed parts and storing them until the commencement of Phase II. This project will take place in hallways and common areas, and can therefore be performed during the school year while residents are occupying the building. Phase II (Summer 2023-Commencement Date: 5/29/2023) – Install the Allegion lock sets on all resident doors throughout the Kaufman Hall building and perform programming testing and commissioning.
