A. Contractor is responsible for disassembly and removal of old thumb plate B. Open cracks and verify with crack die that the cracks are fully removed. They will wedge out the cracks and weld solid. C. The Contractor will add fish plates on the three welded surfaces covering and extending past the original cracks to reinforce stick. D. Contractor is responsible for attaching a new thumb plate and reassembling thumb components. E. County will provide the new thumb plate for Contractor to reinstall. F. County will transport the excavator to the Contractors repair shop within 150 miles for the Bath Landfill, 5632 Turnpike Road, Bath, NY 14810. G. Contractor to provide a lump sum price that is inclusive of, but not limited to, all labor, material and equipment costs.
