Specifications include, but are not limited to: New York City Economic Development Corporation (NYCEDC), in partnership with the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey (PANYNJ), is seeking a consultant or consultant team to lead a comprehensive Study of air cargo business conditions at JFK International Airport and adjacent areas. The Study will address how the City can retain and expand its current market share of the air freight business both regionally and globally. The Consultant will (i) research other domestic and international cargo gateways to identify JFK's competitive position with regards to domestic and international air freight; (ii) research and quantify aviation cargo market conditions and trends; (iii) identify the specific costs and benefits of doing business at JFK; and (iv) present opportunities for Infrastructure, financing and development programs that could encourage air cargo growth within the region.
