Specifications include, but are not limited to:The Board is undergoing a business process redesign (BPR). As part of the BPR the Board has done extensive outreach to stakeholders, including injured workers. The “injured worker experience” is included in the BPR. As part oftheBPRtheBoardwouldliketodeve l o p a p r o t o t y p e f o r t h e B o a r d ’ s 2 5 h e a r i n g c e n t e r s t h a t w i l l e n h a n c e / i m p r o v e the perception of the Board and the experience the injured worker has with the Board and the hearing process. The Contractor will be expected to provide recommendations for a total overhaul of hearing centers focusing on, but not limited to: Security and customer service areas Waiting seating/seating configurations Lighting Enclave space for attorney/client pre-hearing meetings Furniture identification to accommodate specified technologies within the hearing parts to ensure both a safe and appropriate appearance/atmosphere (using NYS preferred source vendor when possible) Placement of various types of communication materials Any other amenities that would improve the injured worker experience, making them more-friendly to the injured worker.
