Specifications include, but are not limited to: • ICE CONTROL SAND – Shall comply with New York State Department of Transportation Standard Specifications, Item #33700: Abrasives – Snow and Ice Control Specifications No. 99-01, Class A meeting or exceeding the gradation specifications.; It is estimated that Steuben County will order approximately 28,000 – 33,000 tons of Ice Control Sand. Generally, in most cases, the county will obtain all their sand by FOB during the term of the bid based on the following estimated quantities: i. Bridge Shop; 2,200 Tons; ii. Curtis Shop; 3,500 Tons; iii. Cohocton Shop; 3,500 Tons; iv. Caton Shop/CCC; 3,000 Tons; v. Woodhull Shop; 3,400 Tons; vi. Mt. Washington Shop; 3,500 Tons; vii. Prattsburgh Shop; 3,000 Tons; viii. Greenwood Shop; 3,400 Tons; ix. Howard Shop; 3,500 Tons
