PRICE: Shall be net, per Ton (2,000 lbs) and by Cubic Yard, and shall include loading by the bidder in Town-owned/Hired trucks. CONTRACT PERIOD(s) as follows: **Non-Delivered: January 1, 2026 -December 31, 2026 **Delivered: January 1, 2026-December 31, 2026 BASIS OF AWARD: Shall be the lowest price per item listed in the bid proposal, plus a trucking cost per ton, per mile. The aforementioned trucking cost will be determined by the Town of Fallsburg Department of Public Works. The bid will be awarded based on the lowest total combined cost. However, the Town of Fallsburg reserves the right to place orders at any Plant or Bank advantageous to the work in progress. Any bid price that is unreasonable and not in the best interest of the Town of Fallsburg shall be rejected. Bidders are advised that this is not an exclusive contract. All bidders must complete the Non-Collusive Bidding Certification enclosed with this agreement, as well as the Bid Proposal Sheet. QUALITY: The material must be of such a grade as to be acceptable to the Town of Fallsburg Department of Public Works. Sand shall be screened, clean, hard, sharp and free from loam, clay or frozen lumps. Material shall have 100% passing a 3/8" sieve, not less than 45% passing a No. 16 sieve and not more than a 30% passing of a No. 50 sieve. TESTING: A gradation analysis for each source of material is required to be submitted with your bid. Failure to submit the gradation analysis with the bid may result in the bid being declared incomplete. QUANTITY: A minimum of 8,000 Ton. The quantity of material is estimated only, and the successful bidder shall be notified of such he/she is to furnish. However, specific orders shall be issued for material taken by the purchaser. Material shall be available as needed. Final acceptance of any material shall rest with the Town of Fallsburg Department of Public Works, Highway Department.
