NYPA seeks to achieve through this RFP the following objectives; improving the efficiency of our IT Operations Center, ensuring high availability and performance of our IT infrastructure by leveraging the expertise of Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) in order of importance Splunk ITSI, Splunk Enterprise, and ManageEngine OpManager and APM by establishing a Managed Services agreement(s) with a firm(s) that can provide Subject Matter Expertise (SME) as supplemental staff to support BAU dayto-day administration following and enhancing current program management, as well as, expertise using current monitoring and observability tool sets mentioned. Additionally, provide Statement of Work (SOW) deliverable-based technology services in support of initiatives undertaken within the monitoring/observability function within NYPA’s Digital Resilience Operation Center and support areas. These initiatives will be primarily led and requested by NYPA’s Information Technology (IT) organization. A. Day-to-Day Administration 1. Splunk ITSI: (Priority) o Administration of Splunk IT Service Intelligence (ITSI). o Health checks and performance tuning. o Managing KPI and service health scores. o Regular updates and patch management. 2. Splunk Enterprise: (preferred and assumed based on Splunk ITSI expertise) o Daily administration and maintenance of Splunk Enterprise. o Managing and optimizing Splunk indexes and data retention policies. o Dashboard and report creation and maintenance. o Regular updates and patch management. 3. OpManager: (Nice to have) o Daily monitoring and management of OpManager. o Routine health checks and maintenance. o Troubleshooting and resolving any issues related to OpManager. o Regular updates and patch management.
