Specifications include, but are not limited to: furnish and install Central Air Conditioning System and Electrical Service upgrade including but not limited to all materials, labor, equipment and method of performing the Central Air Conditioning (A/C) work in connection with the construction of rooftop chiller unit, make-up air unit, chilled water piping, structural steel dunnage, exhaust fans, ductwork and alteration of the building electrical system (electrical service upgrade) for the 45th Precinct, Borough of Bronx. This Contractor shall furnish all labor, material, equipment and appliances required for a complete central air conditioning system, including, but not limited to, the following principal items: 1. Contractor shall responsible for obtaining all permits, equipment use permits, electrical service upgrade permits from utilities company, all inspection approvals and letter of completion from the NYC Department of Buildings. The contractor shall sign off the project with building department. 2. Furnish labor and material for demolition, removal and disposal of the existing AC units, ductwork, exhaust fans and exhaust air duct systems, electrical power & controls conduit, wire, disconnect switches, breakers from 1st floor, 2nd floor, 3rd floor and roof areas as per specifications and contract documents. 3. Furnish and install one (1) package make-up air unit and one (1) chiller unit, of the size and type specified herein and as shown on the contract & approved working drawings and as required for a complete operating A/C system including: Operating control system microprocessor control monitor, electronic thermostat / sensors, CO2 monitor and programmable time clock control wall mounted to access control setting information and operation from a single location. Indoor cassette type air handler units’ controls, temperature sensors and accessories. 4. Furnish and install total thirty-four (35) hydronic ceiling cassette units with structural supports, electrical accessories, disconnects, temperature sensors, thermostatic control units in the 1st floor and 2nd floor areas of the size and type specified herein and as shown on the contract & approved working drawings and as required for a complete operating A/C system. 5. Furnish and install total six (6) exhaust fans of the size and type specified herein and as shown on the contract & approved working drawings and as required for a complete operating A/C system.
