The design work anticipated for this project shall include, but not limited to, the following: a. Geotechnical testing and investigation for proposed structure(s). b. Pre-design phase to determine structural and existing utility capacities at the proposed site. c. Site Design: a. Demolition of existing pool, building(s) and site redevelopment; b. Underground service(s) to building; c. Design of site utilities (electric, telecom, gas, sanitary and storm). i. Project to be designed in accordance with Buffalo Sewer Authority (“BSA”) stormwater requirements for pre/post development discharge; ii. Project to be designed in accordance with New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (“NYSDEC”) SPEDES Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan (“SWPPP”); iii. Sanitary system downstream capacity in accordance with Erie County Health Department, and BSA; iv. Supplemental survey for site & utility information which is not included in available Master Plan information; d. Site Development – Pathways, landscaping, fencing, lighting, grading, and perimeter securing. d. Architectural, Structural, Interior Design, Fire Protection, & MEP a. Utilize available information from Division of Parks active Masten Park construction project as reference and basis of pool building(s). b. Design to comply with all applicable zoning, accessibility, building codes, energy code c. Restrooms & plumbing fixtures per building code requirements d. Entrance lobby / Reception desk, locker rooms, Utility room(s), two (2) staff offices, staff only restroom i. Durable flooring and finishes ii. Heating and cooling unit(s) with zoned HVAC controls iii. Furnishings, millwork, and shelving for: 1. Meeting rooms, reception, office, closets, storage rooms, etc. iv. Interior and exterior signage
