6) SCOPE OF WORK The selected vendor for the holiday market manager agreement is responsible for overseeing and managing the operations of the holiday market. Their primary role is to ensure the smooth and successful execution of the New Rochelle Holiday Market, from planning and organizing to coordinating various activities and vendors: • Visitor Experience: The manager focuses on creating a positive and enjoyable experience for market visitors. The manager will be the point person for all the entertainment and live performances. Collaborate with vendors, visitors, and other stakeholders to address inquiries, resolve issues, and enhance the overall visitor experience. • Staff and Volunteer Coordination: The manager participates with the training, and supervises staff members and volunteers who assist in market operations. The manager provides guidance and support to the team as needed. The manager is the point person for all vendors beginning upon execution of the agreement. The manager will provide support and guidance for makers prior to market. The manager will oversee move in of all vendors and move out of all vendors. Market manager will be the point person for all vendors to check in and check out during the market operating hours and will report any vendors that are not compliant. Address any concerns, conflicts, or issues that volunteers may encounter during their service. Provide clear instructions and guidance to volunteers, ensuring they understand their roles and responsibilities. Foster a positive and inclusive environment, promoting teamwork, respect, and open communication among volunteers. Communicate regularly with volunteers, providing updates on 5834-3 schedules, events, and any changes in plans. Monitor volunteer attendance and address any issues or conflicts that may arise.
