Specifications include, but are not limited to: : Heavy-Duty Ten Wheel Truck(s); cab-chassis type with automatic or standard transmissions and installed, optional equipment. The vehicle(s) specified herein shall be used as a matter of routine, but not exclusively, to: a. travel a variety of road surfaces, road conditions, and weather conditions, throughout Steuben County. b. operate year-round on hilly terrain. c. haul heavy loads of material related to road/bridge construction and maintenance, and snow and ice control. d. plow snow and treat road surfaces. Each and all units (cab-chassis, ancillary equipment, and all optional equipment) shall be new, unused, standard production (2022 or newer model year) equipment only. Shop worn, demonstrator, prototype, damaged and/or repaired equipment shall not be acceptable. All equipment shall be free of defect(s). Each and all units shall be delivered fully functional, with all standard, ancillary, and optional equipment installed.
