A. It is expected that Vendors responding to this solicitation for bid will have facilities and expertise in this type of services to satisfactorily perform maintenance and repair on diesel engines. All bidders must posses a current, valid license issued by the State of New York, which permits vendors to engage in heavy duty diesel engine repair. License must be valid during the full term of this contract and a copy shall be included in bid submission. B. Vendors should have a minimum of 10 years experience. C. Vendors shall be located within Nassau County. D. Storage of truck for any necessary length of time until job completion will be at no expense to the Village. e. This contract covers mechanical repairs for large diesel trucks including sanitation vehicles, dump trucks and other large diesel vehicles.
