Specifications include, but are not limited to: Purpose of the Solicitation The NYC Department for the Aging (NYC Aging), through its Geriatric Mental Health (GMH) program provides a variety of mental health services and interventions to older adults at Older Adult Centers (OACs) across the city. Through this Request for Proposals (RFP) (EPIN 12523P0003), NYC Aging is seeking qualified Geriatric Mental Health providers to offer accessible and culturally conscious mental health services to older adults in need throughout the city. In particular, NYC Aging seeks to contract with: (1) Article 31 licensed mental health clinics; (2) hospitals with a faculty practice entity that allows hired faculty or staff to provide mental health services and is registered with the American Association of Medical Colleges (AAMC) or (3) hospital-based Article 31 clinics.
