The Contractor is responsible for furnishing its own materials, equipment, and tools required for performance of the Services, as well as for protecting those materials, equipment, and tools, and all personal belongings (the “Contractor Supplies”), at all times while on the Sites and during off-hours. The City, NYCEDC, and their respective tenant(s) and personnel at the Sites shall not be liable for any losses with respect to the Contractor’s Supplies on or off the Sites. 2. The Contractor agrees that it shall obtain and maintain, at its own expense, any and all licenses and permits necessary for the performance of the Standard Services and Various Services, if needed. The Contractor shall be licensed to perform the Services in the City of New York, as required. The Contractor shall maintain any and all required licenses throughout the Term of the Contract. 3. Upon completion of the tasks at a working area, the area shall be left in a clean and orderly condition. The Contractor shall exercise extreme caution so as not to damage property or interfere with other services at the Sites. All damage caused by the Contractor shall be repaired or restored by the Contractor at its sole expense and to the satisfaction of NYCEDC. 4. NYCEDC reserves the right to reject unacceptable Services at any time during the Services process and the Term. Any Services that do not conform to the specifications provided herein or that do not receive NYCEDC’s approval shall be removed or corrected by the Contractor at its sole expense. 5. Site safety shall include protection of all Site areas where the Standard Services and Additional Services are performed. The Contractor shall maintain the cleanliness and orderliness of all work areas, keep them free of hazards (tripping, fire, environmental, or otherwise) and shall take all necessary precautionary measures to prevent fires and any other health hazards.
