Specifications include, but are not limited to: The contractor, on an on call as needed basis, will oversee design and production of print materials within the NYCDOT Office of Safety Education & Outreach. The contractor shall provide the following services on an as needed basis, including, but not limited to: • Developing multi-modal traffic safety messaging and content for a variety of age groups and audiences; • Creating designs, layouts and templates appropriate to specific audiences; • Managing production of printed materials and acting as liaison to DOT vendors/printers; • Providing production specs, soliciting bids, preparing file packages for production and approve proofs; • Organizing delivery of materials, creating a map of the warehouse storage area for office staff to use in mapping inventory, and maintaining an updated Excel inventory list and budget; • Developing visuals and layouts for K-12 classroom-based materials, materials for older adults, materials for parents, and materials for outreach to the general public in accordance with approved DOT curriculum and brand guidelines; this includes age-appropriate workbooks, worksheets, flyers, posters, signage, and interactive presentations, and websites.
