The County of Westchester (“County”), acting by and through its Department of Social Services (“Department,” “DSS” or “WCDSS”), is soliciting price quotations for the purpose of entering into a one (1) year consulting contract with qualified and experienced grant writer to perform grant writing services and/or other special projects to be selected by WCDSS, with the County having the sole option to extend the term of the consulting contract or up to two (2) additional one (1) year terms at the rates reflected in the proposal. The Department is soliciting quotations for grant writing services and/or other special projects in order to enable the Department to apply to state or federal funding opportunities. These services may include coordinating necessary planning with local service providers and/or participating jurisdictions, researching needed data, collecting documents, preparing application materials, arranging appropriate application review and signatures, and duplicating, assembling, and mailing the applications. Services will only be required if DSS agrees that an opportunity is significant enough to warrant investment. Having this consulting contract in place will enable WCDSS to move swiftly whenever state or federal funding opportunities arise.
