The Contractor shall perform all preventative maintenance prescribed by device manufacturers including: Monthly service: - remote check prior to arrival to verify transmissions and prepare for potential problems, - general power and datalogger checks, - check of water level sensor versus Depth to Water measurement from the established benchmark or existing staff gage, - adjustment of level sensor when variance equal to or greater than 0.02’, - general cleaning of system components (solar panel, gage box exterior, etc.), - firmware updates as warranted, - replace desiccant as needed, - removal of vegetation around gage structure, - document sensor checks, adjustments, site status, etc. in site visit report. Canals shall receive the reporting data in a format that can easily be manipulated/analyzed for trends, etc. Bi-monthly service: - shall include all service items from monthly service, - purge bubblers and verify tank pressure, - calibrate stage level, - replace any analog or SDI sensors as needed, - log into gage’s WiFi and inspect all data and parameters, - assess and repair antenna (tighten loose and replace broken directors & dipoles), - verify and adjust antenna orientation, - verify and adjust solar panel direction, - adjust solar panel angle for seasonal differences (35deg winter, 45deg summer), - manually inspect battery condition (damage, voltage)
