Provide all labor, materials, fabrication, and installation of the following sign types as indicated in the Contract Documents: 1. Directional Signs (Type D): Fabricate and install directional signs (D5, D6) consisting of 1/8-inch thick painted acrylic backer panels with computer-cut raised tactile lettering, (D6) requires Braille, and pictograms in compliance with ADA requirements. Provide acrylic shim plates for stand-off mounting. Attach to substrate type as indicated with adhesive foam tape mounting (VHB or Equal) and silicone when needed. 2. Identification Signs (Type ID): Fabricate and install identification signs (ID1, ID2, ID8, ID9) consisting of 1/8-inch thick painted acrylic backer panels with computer-cut raised tactile lettering, Braille, and pictograms in compliance with ADA requirements. Provide acrylic shim plates for stand-off mounting. Attach to substrate type as indicated with adhesive foam tape mounting (VHB or Equal) and silicone when needed. 3. Regulatory Signs (Type R): Fabricate and install regulatory signs as follows: a. R1 through R21: Digitally printed graphics on painted 1/8-inch aluminum composite material (ACM) panels, mechanically fastened through panel faces to substrate with tamper-resistant and weather-resistant fasteners as indicated. b. R31: Translucent frosted vinyl graphics (3M Crystal or approved equal) applied to designated surfaces. 4. Exterior Wayfinding Signs (Type X): Fabricate and install exterior wayfinding signs as follows: a. X1 through X11: Digitally printed graphics on painted 1/8-inch aluminum composite material (ACM) panels, mechanically fastened through panel faces to substrate with tamper-resistant and weather-resistant fasteners as indicated. b. X12: Translucent frosted vinyl graphics (3M Crystal or approved equal) applied to designated surfaces.
