This is a Sources Sought Notice ONLY. The U.S. Government desires to procure Fire Vehicle Modifications Services on a Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA). This requirement is to provide emergency vehicle modifications and alterations as requested to multiple fire engines, fire trucks, a rescue apparatus, and command support vehicles. Service for emergency vehicles shall be performed according to related National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) standards.
The anticipated NAICS code is 811198 All Other Automotive Repair and Maintenance and PSC Code K042 Modification of Equipment- Fire Fighting, Rescue, and Safety Equipment; Environmental Protection Equipment and Materials.
In response to this sources sought, please provide:
Name of the firm, point of contact, phone number, email address, SAM UEI number, CAGE code, and the corresponding NAICS code. Identify whether your firm is interested in competing for this requirement as a prime contractor or not, and submit a capability statement if you are able to fulfill this requirement.

BPA Requirements:
USMA has a BPA requirement to provide emergency vehicle modifications and alterations as requested to multiple fire engines, fire trucks, a rescue apparatus, and command support vehicles. Service for emergency vehicles shall be performed according to related National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) standards. These standards are NFPA 1500, NFPA 1901, NFPA 1071, NFPA 1906, NFPA 1911, and NFPA 1917. These standards will be used as a guide for inspections, repairs and practices. Any and all persons who will be performing any and all inspections, maintenance, and or alterations to emergency vehicles will meet and/or exceed NFPA 1071 (most recent edition), the Standard for Emergency Vehicle Technicians.
Scope of work will include moving/mounting of equipment, lights, and radios as needed. Uninstalling, reinstalling, or upgrading siren, lights, radios. Contractor will be responsible for supplying all items needed to complete work IAW NFPA regulations to include tools and hardware. Work may be performed at a West Point Fire station where a bay, lighting, standard 110v outlets will be provided. If work needs to be done off site, WPFD will transport the vehicle to and from the site one time to a secure location that will house the vehicle for the duration of the work

This notice does NOT commit the U.S. Government to contract for any supply or service. Further, the U.S. Government is not seeking quotes, bids or proposals at this time and will not accept unsolicited proposals in response to the sources sought notice.
The U.S. Government will NOT pay for any information or administrative costs incurred in response to this notice. Submittals will not be returned to the responder. Not responding to this notice does not preclude participation in any future RFQ or IFB or RFP, if any is issued.
