Western – North 1. Respite: Programs that incorporate recreational activities, social groups, or other informal skill building activities as a part of a respite program. Transportation to and from this program be looked at as a possible additional service offered but would not be mandatory as part of this proposal. The targeted counties would be Erie, Niagara, Genesee, Orleans. Site-based respite is not within the scope of this funding. 2. Behavioral Support: Programs focused on supporting the behavioral needs of OPWDD eligible individuals. Program Proposal can address all age groups, but directing the need to school aged children and young adults is preferred. Targeted counties for would be Erie, Niagara, Genesee, Orleans. 3. After School [Recreational] Programs: After School Recreation Programs would focus on all school aged children in the following counties of WNY: Erie, Niagara, Genesee, Orleans. Transportation to and from this program be looked at as an addition to the proposals, but not a mandatory need for a program of this type to be proposed. Western – South 1. After School [Recreational] Programs: After school Recreation Programs would focus on all school aged children in the following counties of WNY: Chautauqua, Cattaraugus, Allegany. Transportation to and from this program be looked at as a possible addition to the proposals (although not made mandatory as part of program proposals).
