Through various recent planning efforts, the Town of Penfield has identified several future facilities improvements that may be needed over the next decade to meet the community’s long-term needs. The building space needs related to the Recreation, Library, Town Hall and Town Courts have been explored by the Town’s third-party architectural consultant, with input from Town staff in these areas. Additionally, there are other master plans that have explored the future needs of other town-owned properties (e.g., parks and other publicly accessible properties). To develop a wholistic approach to its future capital investments and ensure that any proposed facility construction and/or renovation projects will meet the community’s current and future needs, the Town is seeking widespread community input. The Town is seeking the services of a consultant that specializes in community outreach and engagement to assist with obtaining public input on the development of a Town Facilities Improvement Plan.
