Fish is to be of good appearance, color, and odor with firm flesh texture and showing no evidence of decomposition or freezer burn. Fish are to be free of skin and fin damage. All fish are to be unconditionally guaranteed to be fit for human consumption. Vendor must be able to supply product test analysis upon request of the Zoo’s veterinarian, including but not limited to: PCB’s, % fat, & % protein. Should there be any questions as to quality of the fish; the decision of the Zoo’s veterinarian will be final. Vendor is to indicate whether unfit fish are to be returned, disposed of, or independently tested. In the instance of determination of unfit fish, appropriate credit will be issued to Monroe County from the date of notification be it either the Monroe County Purchasing Department or the Seneca Park Zoo
