1. The Fireworks display will be held on Friday July 4th, 2025 at 9:00PM. Display takes place at Joe Curtis Five Islands Park – with staging / setup area on Harrison Island (off the main island). Contractor will have the ability to start set up as early as 8am, day of the event. 2. The City of New Rochelle will provide Parks staff to secure the park and staging area for setup. They will be on site all day. Safety measures will also be provided by the City’s Police and Fire Department. 3. Display to last a minimum of 20 minutes, during which time there shall be continuous visible display without delays or breaks in performance. The finale should be emphasized. 4. Safety Regulations Compliance with safety protocols and guidelines established by organizations such as the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA). 5. Training and Certification Personnel handling and conducting fireworks displays must be certified pyrotechnicians. 6. The Contractor must submit in detail, an outlined aerial display (opening, body, and finale) with their proposal for review. The City encourages the contractor to offer the newest style shell to enhance the City’s show. 7. Proposals must include a description of shells to be used in the show along with the total number of each type of shell, size of shell (circumference) and its unit price. Proposals should include the cost of labor and the cost of materials. 8. The Contractor must provide a packing slip/inventory document that can be compared and verified against our order. Any deviations from our order shall be noted and payment shall be adjusted accordingly
