A. The annual audit performed and compilation of the District’s Financial Statements, of all funds of the District shall be in accordance with: 1. United States General Accounting Office 2. Government Accounting Standards Board (GASB) 3. American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) 4. Generally Accepted Auditing Standards 5. Standards promulgated by the New York State Comptroller 6. Regulations of the Commissioner of Education 7. Regulations of the Federal Government regarding Federal Funds B. All working papers associated with this engagement shall be retained for a minimum of three years from the date of the audit report. Further, all such working papers shall be available for examination by authorized representatives of appropriate agencies, the West Hempstead UFSD, and subsequent independent auditors.
