Specifications include, but are not limited to:The Riverhead Central School District, hereinafter referred to as “Riverhead CSD”, invites sealed proposals from qualified organizations and/or individuals to provide Behavioral and Educational Services to the District on an as needed basis. In accordance with §104b of General Municipal Law, goods and services such as contracts for professional services, requiring special skill or training, are not required by law to be procured through competitive bidding, but must be procured in a manner so as to assure the prudent and economical use of public monies. 1. PURPOSE The Riverhead CSD requests proposals from one or more qualified vendors interested in providing Behavioral and Educational Services for students. The Riverhead CSD is soliciting non-exclusive, sealed proposals to contract with one or more vendors to assist Riverhead CSD in providing these services. The District intends to assemble a roster of potential service providers who are available to provide these services. The Riverhead CSD need for such services may increase or decrease throughout the school year for the service. The award of the proposal may be subject to and contingent upon a formal written contract with Riverhead CSD. The contract will be awarded to the vendor(s) best meeting the needs of Riverhead CSD in its sole discretion. Note that the lowest-cost vendor may not be the best suited to meet the needs of Riverhead CSD.
