Engineering and Design of a leachate collection mechanism based on the Memorandum by Geosyntec Consultants that can be readily integrated into the exiting Cell 7 leachate collection system and complies with current NYSDEC regulations. It is not anticipated that a permit modification will be required for this project. Submission of plans and specifications with revisions to NYSDEC comments should be included. The selected engineering firm shall generate complete, workable construction documents, suitable for public bidding. The firm shall also review the as built Plans and Specifications to insure project continuity with existing conditions. The final plans that will be utilized shall be signed and sealed by the selected engineering firm The selected engineering firm shall also review the existing Cell 7 Quality Control/Quality Assurance plan, develop a plan specifically for the Project and include it as part of the bidding documents. The plan shall include the materials to be tested, ASTM testing standards and frequency of testing. The plan shall comply with all provisions of 6NYCRR Part 360 and Subpart 363-4.5 and 363-6.
