Specifications include, but are not limited to: a) The contractor is expected to conduct all driver diversion classes as scheduled by the County Manager’s office with coordination/input from the District Attorney’s office with regard to referrals into the program. b) It is estimated that the program will require a minimum of twenty-four (24) instructional classes annually, an average of two (2) classes per month. However, if applicant numbers dictate, and at the discretion of the County Manager’s office, a third class may be required. Standard instructional classes are six (6) hours in duration. However, the County Manager’s Office reserves the right to extend a given instructional class up to seven (7) hours in duration, if the amount of instructional material warrants the extension. c) All classes shall be held at one of the following locations: Steuben County Office Building, 3 East Pulteney Square, Bath, NY; Steuben County Civil Defense Building, 7220 State Route 54, Bath, NY. d) Classes shall be conducted on Saturdays only with the dates set by the County Manager’s office. e) Any response to this request must detail how the contractor proposes to meet the scheduling requirements established by the County Manager and District Attorney’s office.
