All contractor equipment must be OSHA approved and labeled. Equipment not OSHA approved will not be allowed on district premises. All resulting debris, etc. must be removed from building and premises. All work will be scheduled by the Director of School Facilities and will accommodate school scheduling. Work may be scheduled for weekends at the discretion of the district. A bid will not be considered for award if all requested attachments are not submitted. Contractor shall take all necessary precautions for the safety of the students, his own, and School District’s employees on the work site, and shall comply with all applicable provisions of Federal, State, and Municipal safety laws, and building codes to prevent accidents or injury to persons on, about, or adjacent to the premises where the work is being performed. A management representative from the contractor, must make themselves available, for any and all work-related meetings that are called by the District at the District’s discretion. Bid packets may be picked up at Lynbrook Union Free School District located at 111 Atlantic Ave. Lynbrook, N.Y. 11563, Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Contractor is required to maintain a prevailing rate schedule for all work performed and to provide said schedule to the district upon demand.
