Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Seneca Park Zoo (SPZ) is considering the revision of all the existing interpretive elements of the present exhibit Rocky Coasts. The exhibit includes interior and exterior spaces. It includes polar bear, African penguin, sandhill crane, Canada lynx, snowy owl, reef tank and sea lion enclosures. The plan for new interpretives will convey a new and unified concept, and will include new content, labeling design, and interactives. It may also include new lighting in select areas, new exhibit features, a main entrance element, and other interpretive features that help meet visitor experience goals. Services Required: The professional design services needed are interpretive framework development and interpretive exhibition design. The selected firm will lead staff to a unified and comprehensive schematic design. This will include the production of several elevations of key proposed features, floor plan of the revised scheme, any new graphic design elements, prototype concepts for interactives, suggested design development next steps and preliminary cost estimate to compete the design development, fabrication and installation of the completed design.
