Specifications include, but are not limited to: Purchase College is soliciting proposals to provide design services for new security upgrades projects across our campus, including; access control & monitoring devices on the exterior doors on (2) different buildings on Campus (Visual Arts and Music Buildings), providing new ‘Shelter-In-Place’ door modifications and/or hardware on identified doors in various buildings on campus, upgrades to allow for remote emergency broadcasting, a new license plate reading system, and integration of a new Alertus system. Project #1 - New access control devices on 34 exterior entrance doors into both the Visual Arts and Music buildings. - New access monitoring devices on (xx) exterior stair and service access doors on both the Visual Arts and Music buildings. Project #2: - New access control devices 267 to allow for ‘Shelter-in-Place’ options on doors in multiple academic buildings. - 56 in Visual Arts building - 25 in Music building - 39 in Dance building - 72 in Natural Science building - 25 in Social Science building - 42 in Humanities building - 8 Fort Awesome Project #3: - Upgrades to current fire panel to receive remote broadcast, including new panels in 48 different buildings. - The goal is to allow UPD to broadcast thru build fire alarm speaks - Review the feasibility of integrating existing fire panel with current technology for remote broadcast.
