Have integrated management tools with flexible and user friendly reporting. 7. Enable Health + Hospitals to reach HIMSS Stage 6 EMR adoption level (short term) and final Stage 7 in the intermediate term. 8. Foster ability to reach Gartner maturity for Clinical Information Systems (ambulatory) in the short term. 9. Be able to integrate or be inclusive with external clinical, financial and business systems, as well as clinical instruments. 10. Allow for web-based functionality. 11. Offer both patient and physician portal solutions. 12. Allow for secure LDAP authentication and provide highly developed patient and role-based access controls as well as all necessary audit trails and tools as prescribed below by Health + Hospitals security requirements. 13. Be ready for the age of personalized medicine and be able to accommodate the complex information and services which will be necessary to make use of genetic information. 14. Make the provision of care as effective and efficient as possible for patients and providers. 15. Verify that all solution components are CCHIT certified. 16. Compliance with all Meaningful Use requirements and all relevant regulations including ARRA/HITECH, Statewide Health Information Network of New York (SHINY), New York State Clinical Records Initiative (NYSCRI), etc. 17.
