Design, fabricate, furnish and deliver one new Cutterhead Dredge for the NYS Canal Corporation with the option to procure a 2nd Cutterhead Dredge with the same specifications. The dredge shall be a medium size non propelled suction cutter head dredger designed for use on the New York State Canal System, capable of dredging depths from 0 to 16 feet with a discharge distance of 5,800 feet minimum and a static lift of 30 feet minimum, pumping through a 14-inch I.D. steel pipe or 14-inch nominal high-density polyethylene (HDPE) pipe The dredge shall use two separate diesel engines. One shall be dedicated to the dredge pump and the hydraulic system and the second engine shall be a 25 KW Electrical generator (to provide A.C. power for lighting and auxiliaries). The dredge ladder shall be designed for maximum dredging depth from 0 to 16 feet. 20ft depth ladder would be preferred.
