This bid document is published in order to obtain competitive prices for: Crane Rental Services - General Bridge Services. The contractor’s responsibility shall include, but is not limited to, the following: a. supply the County with both, an equipment driver/operator and an equipment ground man (if an equipment ground man is required for the proper operation and performance of the crane) who are licensed, trained, competent, and experienced in: i. the operation and maintenance of the rental/rented equipment. ii. the job performance requirements for rigging, lifting and setting bridge beams and box and pipe culverts. The cost for equipment driver/operator and equipment ground man (if required for the proper operation and performance of the crane) shall be included in the bidders “In Toto Price(s) Bid”. b. supply the County with the crane equipment on a “standby”, rental basis. The term “standby” shall mean that the contractor shall have the specified crane equipment available for rent within any reasonable time period during the term of the contract. c. the supply and mobilization of all of the following to and from a project site within a specified location within the County: Equipment, Equipment Driver/Operator, Equipment Ground man (if an equipment ground man is required for the proper operation and performance of the crane), and ancillary items (as may be necessary).
