Yates County is seeking a firm to represent the County in all aspects of the design and associated engineering of said facility and construction oversight including but not limited to the following: A. Architect/Engineer Responsibilities (separate contract from Construction Management services) a. Programming and – Conceptual Design i. Review of reports and analysis of existing building completed to date. ii. Completion of any required environmental reviews including but not limited to the State Environmental Quality Review (SEQR) in conjunction/consultation with the county’s environmental attorney. iii. Completion of on-site surveys including but not limited to professional surveying, civil work, soil analysis, geotechnical engineering and asbestos evaluation. iv. Completion of any required asbestos containing material surveys. v. Completion of NYS Building Code study including local codes that may apply. vi. Review of all Federal, State and Local Laws that may apply. vii. Analysis of any and all permitting that may be required. viii. Complete evaluation of future possible expansions and property acquisitions. ix. Complete evaluation of County’s short term and long term plans for the property.
