Aggregates: Fine aggregate shall conform to Section 703-01, Fine Aggregate. Coarse aggregate shall conform to Section 703-02, Coarse Aggregate. Crushed stone, crushed gravel, or approved crushed slag may be used. Mineral Filler: Mineral filler, if used, shall conform to the requirements outlined in Section 703-08. Bituminous Materials. The bituminous material shall be an asphalt emulsion and shall conform to the requirements outlined in Section 702, Bituminous Materials. The producer may elect to use an alternate asphalt emulsion with or without the addition of modifying agents. Any prior approval of the County for the use of alternate asphalt emulsion shall be in writing. For any asphalt emulsion not listed in Section 702, Bituminous Materials, the producer shall provide complete specifications for the alternate asphalt emulsion to the Yates County Highway Department.
