esponsibilities of the Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant include, but are not limited to: 1. Under the supervision of the Occupational Therapist, and cooperatively with the Central and Building level administrators, school psychologists, speech therapists and teachers, provide researched-based, educationally appropriate services to Nyack students. 2. In conjunction with a student’s IEP, provide therapy to a student individually or in group sessions (not to exceed five students). 3. Adhere to assigned schedule including dates of service which follow Nyack Public School’s yearly calendar along with the dates prescribed in each IEP, and hours of service determined by the District within each school’s hours of operation for each school in the district. 4. Prepare and submit all required paperwork in an accurate and timely fashion.
