Respondent(s) must offer a proposal that will meet the scope of work, qualifications and general description of activities identified in this Request for Proposal (RFP). Proposal must detail Respondent(s)’s ability to maintain compliance with all applicable laws, rules and regulations for work performed throughout the term of all agreements resulting from this RFP. Respondent(s) must include its qualifications and experience with similar work. The County is seeking Catering Services to operate the Program. Catering Services required include: 1. Procuring food and supplies to operate the Program at area Meal Sites and the MCOFA Annual Picnic. 2. Provide Meals and/or other catered items on designated holidays, under emergency conditions, and/or for special events. 3. Preparation of Meals. 4. Delivery of prepared Meals, supplies, and ancillary items to Meal Sites, as detailed in Attachments F, G and L. 5. Invoicing Meals Delivered: a. Meal Sites order Meals. b. The County pays directly for Meals as indicated on Attachment A: Meal Sites. c. Town Operated Meal Sites pay for meals and must be invoiced by the selected Respondent directly. d. The County bears no legal responsibility for payments owed by the Town operated Meal Sites. e. In determining cost per meal, Respondent(s) must include the total service area as defined in: Attachment A: Meal Sites and all Town Operated Meal Sites constitute the total service area. f. Based on previous annual Meal counts’, MCOFA will be billed approximately 14,000 Breakfasts and 37,000 Lunches; and Towns will be billed approximately 53,000 Lunches. g. Total Average Meals include: Regular Menu (Attachment B); Breakfast, Travel Breakfast & Travel Lunch Meals (Attachment C); Meal Site Picnic (Attachment D); and Special Meal Menu (Attachment E.)
