Specifications include, but are not limited to: This New York State Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA) Program Opportunity Notice (PON) 4685, the Carbontech Development Initiative, seeks proposals to catalyze the establishment of a nation-leading carbontech innovation and commercialization program in New York State. This PON will make funding available for an entity headquartered in New York State that is capable of supporting New York in building a world class, self-sustaining hub for carbontech innovation, research, and product commercialization in the State. This program will fund an eligible organization to conduct its own carbontech research and to administer grants to eligible innovators outside its organization for research, technology transfer, and commercialization in the carbontech space. NYSERDA will provide anchor funding for, and partnership to, the selected PON awardee. NYSERDA will collaborate with the awardee to design programming, secure private and public program funding, and to ensure the success of program grantees and beneficiaries as they advance and commercialize their innovative carbontech solutions. NYSERDA seeks proposals from eligible entities for whom up to $10,000,000.00 program funding is available to set up the Carbontech Development Initiative program, administer its activities, and ensure its long-term continued operation. The selected awardee will enter a contract with NYSERDA for a term of four years. All, some, or none, of the available funds may be awarded. NYSERDA reserves the right to add or reduce time and/or funding to awarded contracts.
