Specifications include, but are not limited to: Dance Building - (13) exterior entrance door openings to receive new access control systems (project 1). - (39) interior door openings to receive new access control systems (project 2). - Main data racks/cabinet in basement sub-level room (access off of main mechanical room #0045). This feeds the southern section of the building. - Secondary data room located in Long Island University (LIU) space (north side of plan at Basement Level). This feeds the north section of 1st floor. - Access to basement level preferred through room #0043 and dispersed via corridor ceilings at basement level. Note basement ceiling is combination of 1x1 concealed spline ceiling acoustic tiles and gypsum board ceilings. - Note there is an exterior breezeway between the south portion and LIU portion of the basement level. - Access to 1st floor proposed via new 4” diameter sleeves at strategic locations as shown on plans (final locations to be verified in field). - At 1st floor, 4” diameter sleeves to extend to above height of adjacent rooms and be enclosed with new gypsum board surrounds to create columns on each side of existing water fountains. Music Building - (11) exterior entrance door openings to receive new access control systems (project 1). - (33) interior door openings to receive new access control systems (project 2). - Main data racks/cabinet in basement sub-level room at two locations (access through Stairwell #0116). One rack location is below room #0072. The other below room #0001. - Access to basement level and upper floors preferred through room #0072 and Room #001, dispersed via above ceilings. - Note basement ceiling is combination of 1x1 concealed spline ceiling acoustic tiles and gypsum board ceilings. High ceilings. Social Science Building - (8) exterior entrance door openings to receive new access control systems (project 1). - (20) interior door openings to receive new access control systems (project 2). - Main data racks/cabinet in basement room #0027. - Ceilings mostly 1x1 concealed spline ceiling acoustic tiles and some gypsum board ceilings. Visual Arts Building - (22) exterior entrance door openings to receive new access control systems (project 1). - (66) interior door openings to receive new access control systems (project 2). - Main data racks/cabinet on 2nd floor in room #2042. - Mix of 2x2 and 2x4 acoustic tiles and some gypsum board ceilings. - New walls and door/frame needed on both the 1st and 2nd floor as per drawings. Fort Awesome Residence Hall - (12) interior door openings to receive new access control systems (project 2). - Main data racks/cabinet on 3rd floor in rooms #318 and #352. Humanities Building - (51) interior door openings to receive modified access control systems (project 2). - Main data racks/cabinet in basement in room #0063. - Mix of large format acoustic tiles and some gypsum board ceilings.
