The vendor must be able to shred paper and various types of media to include, but not limited to CDs, DVDs and Hard & Floppy Discs. The vendor will provide and place 96 gallon secured totes in the designated areas. The vendor will retrieve and replace the totes to their designated location at time of service. The County will provide the necessary I.D’s., keys or codes and permissions to the vendor for access to the designated areas. Certain departments may transport the totes to the shredding truck themselves to witness the shredding of their documents. All shredding will be performed curbside at the location before leaving the premises. The vendor will provide a “Certificate of Destruction” at time of service. The vendor will be responsible for the disposal of the shredded material in the appropriate environmental manner. Vendor must agree to one-time service requests. Vendor must respond within two business days to requests for additional totes or one-time service. The vendor’s price must be inclusive of all charges. For example: Fuel Surcharge.
