Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Dormitory Authority State of New York (DASNY) is soliciting the services of a single prime contractor for this project. There is a Project Labor Agreement (PLA) in place which is included in the contract documents. The low bidder will be required to sign the PLA. The work associated with this contract involves the interior renovation of nine (9) elevator lobbies of the Information & Technology Building at Baruch College. The scope of work includes but it's not limited to Temporary protections and barriers, Selective Removals of Finishes, New Suspended GWB ceiling System, New Artisanal Plaster Surfaces to replace missing stone panels, Painting and Finishing GWB surfaces, New Lighting in Lobbies, New Signage/Wayfinding and graphic design in all lobbies, HVAC work related to lobby renovation, Fire Alarm modification in elevator lobbies, Fire Protection (sprinkler) equipment in elevator lobbies. The work is taking place in an occupied building The Contractor is responsible for scheduling and coordinating the work of all trades to ensure the scheduled completion date is met. The Contractor is responsible for providing all the work. Specific requirements for the work of each Contract are also indicated in individual Specification Sections and on Drawings for each Contract.
