Specifications include, but are not limited to:The GBNRTC is requesting competitive proposals from creative and innovative consultants to assist GBNRTC staff with the development of an outcomes-based metropolitan transportation plan for the year 2050 building upon One Region Forward and other relevant planning studies and initiatives. GBNRTC anticipates that the ideal project team may be composed of several firms, organizations and/or individuals and intends to enter into a contract with a designated lead firm for the project. This firm may propose partnerships with other firms or organizations with complementary expertise to ensure that all qualifications are met. The selected firm will: • Assist the GBNRTC with further refining a scope of work that details an agreed upon strategy for the development of the 2050 Metropolitan Transportation Plan. • Demonstrate expertise surrounding FAST Act and the federal requirements necessary for MTP development. • Provide research, support, coordination, documentation, plan formatting and graphic design services needed to develop a complete MTP for the Buffalo Niagara region. Contemporary graphics approaches to ensure outreach and communications success are important. • Review and integrate in a seamless manner relevant planning documents and initiatives deemed necessary to support and develop the MTP. • Incorporate existing public input data and pending public input efforts conducted by the GBNRTC staff. • Prepare Plan sections as defined in the scope a
