The selected contractor will be responsible for furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, permits, and services necessary to complete the work in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards. The selected contractor will be responsible for the following tasks: A. Site Cleanup • Remove all unlicensed vehicles from the property. • Remove debris, garbage bags, fallen branches, appliances, fixtures, and other detritus. • Remove siding (must be performed by a certified asbestos abatement contractor). • Remove overhead wires back to the utility pole. B. Building Demolition • Demolish the structure in its entirety, including the foundation. • Cap water and waste lines; install demarcation stakes to indicate their locations. • Fill the foundation area with inert material such as #1 stone. C. Post-Work Documentation • Provide dump receipts for all waste disposal. • Provide air monitoring reports related to asbestos abatement. Additional Requirements • Insurance certificates must name the Town of Hurley as an additional insured. • Permit fee for the project is $250.
